  • How old do I have to be to attend a course?

    You must be aged 16 years and above

  • Whats the address for the course?

    We use a range of different venues. We have our main school which is based in Bromley, BR1 2RU, but we also use other venues in different locations. Please see our course bookings page for further information.

  • Do I get a kit with the course?

    Classic Lash– Yes, this is included

    Russian Volume Lash– No (must bring classic lash kit with you. Any
    additional tools for course will be provided, but no take home kit included)

    Acrylic Nails– No, but tools and products will be provided on the day to complete course.

    Make up for beginners – No, but tools and products will be provided on the day to complete course.

    Lash lift– No, but all tools and products will be provided on the day to
    complete the course

    Threading – Yes this is included.

    Manicure – No, but tools and products will be provided on the day to complete course.

    Pedicure – No, but tools and products will be provided on the day to complete course.

    Gel polish – No, but tools and products will be provided on the day to complete course.

    Body massage – No, but products are provided for use on the course.

    Waxing – No, but products are provided for use on the course.

    Female intimate waxing– No, but products are provided for use on the course.

    Nail art– Yes, basic kit provided

  • Who are The Guild?

    The beauty Guild are the biggest professional beauty trade body in the UK with
    more than 8000 members. The Guild accredit our courses.

  • What qualification will I get?

    A GTi award certified by The Beauty Guild, widely recognised and insurable.

    Combo courses and bootcamp programmes will give you more than one award and qualification, so check the course description to find out.

  • How long is the course?

    A course that is listed as full day is usually between 7-8 hours, but may be less depending on how many students are in the class and how fast you complete the practical tasks.

    In addition, you will also be required to complete online theory work, this is to be completed in your own time.

  • Why do I have to pay £25 to the Beauty Guild?

    In order to complete our GTi courses you will need to purchase a Guild GTi Student Membership at an additional cost of £25 to access The Guild online learning platform. This is for the theory side of the course, once this amount is paid you will have a three month student membership with the Guild and from this date to complete your theory work within your Guild student portal and attend your practical course/s. You may book and attend as many GTi courses as you wish within this three months membership period, either with The Beauty Click or any other GTi course provider.

    This also includes a FREE GTi Professional Standards Course (normally £49) in addition you will receive a £25 discount when upgrading to full Associate Membership and insurance with The Guild upon completion of your course (providing the course is completed in full prior to your 3 month student membership expiring).

    If you are already a member of the beauty Guild you may not need to purchase the student membership, please contact the Guild to find out if the membership you have covers the course you are attending: 01332 224830.

    You can add the £25 GTi student membership to your basket as well, when you are purchasing your course.

  • What is the GTi professional standards course?

    The GTi course in professional standards for therapists covers all the essential legislation’s and professional ethics required for working in the
    industry as specified in the national occupational standards for level 2 and 3 treatments in beauty, nails and holistic therapy.

    This is worth 10 CPD points.

  • What do CPD points mean?

    CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and
    enhance their abilities.

    Each of our courses will gain you CPD points. You can check out how many points you get for each course on the course description or on the Guild’s website.

  • Do I need any other qualifications to do the course?

    There are some courses with pre-requisites. Please check the course descriptions to confirm whether or not a course requires other qualifications or experience to attend
